Description

A choice M1942 Heer two-tone spray camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is size marked « ET68 » with a lot number of « 2253 ». The helmet's exterior features a striking two-tone camouflage spray application in matte tan and green colors. It rates well over 98% with only minor scuffs and storage marks. Detailed photos below show nice spray patterns and correct period application. Split pins intact and tight affixed. The Heer decal is present under the camouflage layer. Matching interior is present and in excellent shape. Pig-skin leather liner is complete and supple. Ink stamped for size with a single « 5 ». Chinstrap is complete, full length, maker marked and dated « Franz Müller & Sohn, Bad Homburg 1941 ». Original drawstring also present. Overall a stunning and highly desirable camouflage combat helmet. We have rarely offered a camouflaged helmet in this exceptional condition. Choice!
