M42 Waffen-SS single decal combat helmet, « EF66 / named »
Description
A very nice M1942 Waffen-SS single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « EF66 » with a lot number of « 3204 » marked nicely both on the rear skirt. The helmet's exterior shows a nice untouched look. Split pins intact and retaining their full paint. SS Decal is in excellent shape and rates in at over 90% with some light combat wear to include scuffs and scrapes. Overall exterior shows an attractive combat look. The helmet's interior is complete and remains in as-found condition. Leather liner is complete with a dark brown color and is ink stamped with the size « 58 ». Named for the former Waffen-SS solider but not fully readable. Chinstrap is complete and maker marked « ftb44 ». Drawstring is present. A very hard to find untouched Waffen-SS combat helmet. Choice.
