Description
A superb and rare M1942 Waffen-SS single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « EF62 » with lot number « 2142 ». The helmet is in overall excellent condition, lightly worn. The helmet's exterior retains well over 90% of its factory semi-mate feldgrau paint finish. A light amount of storage wear and handling marks are present. This includes some scapes and scuffs. Classic « ET » Waffen-SS decal is present and rates over 99%. The helmet's split pins are intact, tightly attached and retain their paint finish. The helmet's interior remains in overall excellent condition. Leather liner shows light wear, ink stamped along the end of one of the tongues for size « 55 ». Original unmarked leather chinstrap is present. The soldier's initials are inscribed on the leather « HN ». Overall a very high condition Waffen-SS single decal combat helmet. Choice.
