Description
A superb German k98 receiver cover. Made from a heavy blue/grey colored material. Cover is complete with all natural brown leather closures and with all studs present. Stitching is intact and complete. Interior is also complete with natural felt dust edge. It is marked with the maker’s code and the date « gnz1942 » on the leather, also white ink stamped with « MOD. 98 » on the canvas. An interesting detail is the rank and name of the soldier present on the inside. In excellent condition. A desirable variant missing from most weapons or field equipment collectors.
