Mid-war Luftwaffe fliegerbluse for flight/para, « Unteroffizier »
Description
A period Luftwaffe fliegerbluse for an NCO « Unteroffizier ». Standard mid-war quality factory manufactured example. Featuring original factory machine stitched breast eagle in a tight machine zig-zag pattern. Fliegerbluse retains NCO silver tress and machine straight stitched yellow wool collar tabs. All buttons are present to include metal dish along the front, blue pebble buttons on the shoulder strap and pockets and finally composite buttons in the interior. Under collar buttons present, broken but in place. Original collar liner is present and complete. No shoulder boards are present. Interior is lined in grey rayon material. Ink stamped along the wearer's left interior pocket tight « L.B.A.B 1.42 » for date of issue. A very nice and desirable example that would display nicely on a mannequin, good size. Untouched examples are difficult to find in today's collectors market.
