A very rare period German « MINEN » warning sign from the Normandy beaches. A classic example made from wooden panels and period painted in white and black. Recovered by a U.S. veteran probably on D-day or very shortly after. Shows some wear and use yet remains in very good overall condition. Attached on the back is a photo of the veteran holding the exact same sign. A historical and highly significant artefact from one of the greatest battles of the Second World War.
