Period German helmet carrier strap
Description
A German wartime helmet carrier strap. Period construction from a thick brown leather. Featuring nice and early hardware to include aluminum attachment hook and steel roller buckle. Stitching remains intact and secure. Carrier strap shows plenty of combat field use. One repair with stitching present. Riveted construction along the end. Minor oxidation and slight separation along the rivets. A period example that would probably been used for an armored vehicle to secure along the side. A harder to find and desirable carrier for any equipment of headgear collector.
