An original period studio portrait, offering a particularly evocative representation of a Walloon volunteer who served on the Eastern Front alongside German forces. The reverse is blank, bearing only the Agfa manufacturer’s mark, the date « 4/43 » and the photograph’s address (Tournai, Belgium).
