Rare early Heer EM panzer wrapper set, « 3rd Panzer Division / Eastern Front »
Description
A classic early Heer panzer wrapper and trousers set. This is a factory early issued set. Black higher quality wool construction. The wrapper featuring sewn-in enlisted man's shoulder boards. Machine stitched collar tabs with aluminum skulls tightly affixed. Classic early « BeVo » period hand stitched breast eagle. Buttons remain intact and factory sewn. 2nd class Iron Cross « EK2 » in place, eastern front ribbon still present and multiple period sewn loops for awards intact. Former soldier's hand stitched rank chevron still present. Rare drivers qualification bad also nicely period hand sewn along the lower left arm. Wrapper is in excellent condition and shows light storage wear and is void of rips, holes and stains. Interior is lined in a classic grey cotton linen material. Proper factory stamped markings are present « F39 », also nicely maker marked « Georg Chr. Schultz, M. Gladbach ». Comes with the original combat panzer trousers. Factory made example and constructed from matching black wool. Internal belt and drawstrings along the bottom are intact. Void of holes, rips and stains. Full length and unaltered set. Interior is nicely stamped with the size and depot/year of issue « B37 ». The set is also division and unit marked « 3./Pz.R.8 I ». The 3rd Panzer Division saw extensive service from the war's start on the Eastern Front. This set only recently surfaced out of the woodwork in Bavaria, Germany.
