Description

A very nice and rare MP38u40 pouch, early-war construction in heavy grey canvas. Black leather belt loops and closure straps. Model issued to all branches of the Army. Nicely blue ink stamped on the reverse with the weapons designation « M.P.38u.40 », the maker’s code « jhg », the date « 41 » and the early Waffenamt. The weapon's serial number is stamped on one belt loop, nice detail. A very interesting early variant never before encountered and in overall very good condition.
