Very nice and rare German enamel road sign announcing the border with the Reich, « Reichsgrenze ». These signs were installed along the external border of the German Reich from 1938 to 1945, only a few examples have survived to this day. This example was recovered in the Malmedy region in the 1970s. Metal construction covered with orange, white and black enamel. Some small dents on the entire sign, but it remains in overall very good condition. Dimensions: 55x75cm. A superb decorative piece.
