Description

A very nice and rare set of German « Zf4 » sniper scope for the semi-automatic G/K43 rifle. The Zf4 scope is mounted on its base marked with the « 359 » Waffenamt corresponding to the manufacturer « Walther », the scope is maker marked « ddx » for the manufacturer « Voigtländer u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig », also marked with the weapon designation « Gw ZF 4 » and the serial number « 65052 ». The optics are clear. The eyepiece protection system is present and complete. The scope carrier case is a late war wooden construction, it retains over 95% of its blue factory paint. The gray web belt loop is present. The inside of the box has all its retaining brackets, the inside of the lid is ink stamped with the Waffenamt. The closure is incomplete and one of the rings for attaching the carrying strap is missing. The optics cleaning cloth is present. The set in overall very good condition.
