Description

A very rare set of German MG34/42 ammunition case carrier bags. Late-war factory produced example. Constructed from blue canvas material with tan web straps. The carrier bags are in near mint condition. Only showing light storage and handling marks over the years. Complete and unrestored as most examples on the market are - which makes sets like this extremely rare. The blue heavy canvas material shows very light use and the standard dark spots in the printing roll. Leather reinforcement are in place. The interior of the bags are trimmed with known light grey rayon material seen on other pieces of field gear to include flare pouches. All stitching remains intact, accounted for and tightly secured. Metal tips are marked « SHB ». Metal hardware is present, in very good condition and fully functional. A very rare and highly desirable set. Missing from most advanced weapons and field equipment collections. Choice.
