Description

A very rare and interesting German MG34 Lafette, dated 1940 and stamped with the manufacturer’s code « S323 » inside a triangle, identifying Brandenburger Fahrrad- und Motorradwerk (Excelsior). Originally factory-painted in Dunkelgrau, it was later given a coat of ordnance tan paint in the field during the war. Remarkably, over 90% of the tan paint remains. The Lafette bears serial number « 7597 » and retains its original firing table « Überschießtafel ». The two leather back pads are in excellent, supple condition, and the bolt box is still present. The Lafette can be fully collapsed. A fantastic opportunity to acquire a rare and desirable MG34-related piece, extremely hard to find on the market in this excellent condition!
