Description

Very nice and rare set consisting of two individual single MG34/42 ammunition box carrying bags with the special « H » strap. Mid-war construction, the bags are made from a green heavy canvas material and features classic mid-war webbing in green and blue colors. Both carrier bags are in overall excellent condition. All stitching is complete and factory done with no repairs. Sets are both nicely ink stamped with the Waffenamt. The classic H-straps are made from heavier canvas materials and are in excellent shape. Securing straps are present with only period cut. A must for any weapons or advance field gear collector. Period photos show this model of harness worn in combat by members of the Waffen-SS in Normandy.
