Rare German SA service dagger, « Wester & Butz »
Description
Superb and rare early German SA « Sturmabteilung » enlisted mans service dagger. In untouched as found condition. The dagger is complete with its brown leather belt attachment strap. Blade retains the motto « Alles Für Deutschland » and reverse is marked with the rare maker « Wester & Butz » in Solingen. Wooden handle is complete and excellent. Overall an excellent representative example of a woodwork found dagger in untouched condition. Found in a house in Malmedy in the early 1970s. Malmedy is a Belgian city annexed to Germany in 1940.
