Description

A stunning and rare MP38/40 pouch, late-war construction in blue canvas and pebbled and smooth black leather, very nice slightly worn condition, manufactured in 1943 by the company « Otto Stephan, Leder- u. Lederwarenfabrik » located in Mühlhausen (Thuringe) using the 3 letters code « gaq ». One belt loop is marked with the maker's code and the date « gaq43 ». Also nicely ink stamped on the reverse with the proper designation « MP38u.40 ». The white ink assembly marks are still present. A rare late-war variant!
