Rare Luftwaffe field grey M44 service blouse
Description
Extremely rare unissued Luftwaffe field grey M44 service blouse, it is constructed of the same brownish green shade of field grey wool as found with original Luftwaffe issue assault gun wraps and the four pocket M43 blouses issue for use by Hermann Göring Division personnel, partially lined in two contrasting shades of blue HBT rayon fabric. The late quality machine embroidered on wool Luftwaffe national emblem is factory zig zag sewn through the lining. The lining is white ink stamped with RBNr and sizes, in addition the lining is stamped in black with the large numerals « 589 ». All original buttons are present and original sewn. It comes with a matching pair of late war shoulder straps for flight/para personnel. It is in unissued condition. Included is a photograph of the garment with shoulder straps with notation from the person that purchased it from a family in Wisconsin USA in 1983. This is certainly one of the rarest Luftwaffe uniform piece !
