Rare M35 Heer winter camouflage combat helmet, « woodwork find / Luxembourg »

Description
A stunning and very rare M1935 Heer reissue combat helmet in winter camouflage. Helmet was sourced out of the woodwork in Luxembourg. The maker and lot number are not visible due to overpaint along the rim. The helmet's exterior features a choice winter camouflage paint application and rating in well over 96%. Nice toning and crazing present. It has some scuffs and scrapes yet retaining a nice untouched combat look. Split pins intact and fully covered in the winter camouflage finish. The helmet's interior is in untouched and as-found condition. Nice leather liner that is complete with original drawstring and pigskin chinstrap. Chisntrap retains some partial winter camouflage paint as well. Named both on the liner and the skirt of the helmet. In the area of some flaking you can see the apple green factory paint. A very desirable and extremely difficult to find real winter camouflage helmet. This is a unique opportunity to acquire one that saw action during the Battle of the Bulge. Choice.
