Description

A period German Heer farrier’s tool kit. The set is factory mint-unissued and complete. The insert would of went into the leather carrier bags. It retains all tools for the repair and maintenance of the horseshoes. All metal tools are complete and nicely maker marked and dated « 1941/1942 ». Set features the scraping knife with its ersatz leather protective cover, hammer, horseshoe nails, etc… All in excellent condition and never issued. Leather insert is maker marked « bad 1942 ». A unique opportunity to acquire a complete set in perfect condition. Choice and highly desirable.
