Description

A superb and rare M1940 Luftwaffe combat helmet. The helmet is a late-war « Q66 » with the lot number « DN503 », both marked along the back center skirt. The helmets exterior retains over 99% of the late-war dark blue matte paint. All split pins present and tightly secured. The helmets interior is in excellent condition, it has a really nice light tan leather liner, ink stamped along the tip of the leather tongue with the size « 57 » and retaining its original drawstring. The original leather chinstrap is present and nicely marked with the « RBNr ». This is really an excellent late-war example in perfect condition.
