Description
A rare unissued M1940 Luftwaffe paratrooper green converted step-in smock. The smock is manufactured from typical green material. All zippers present and functional. Manufactured by « RAPID » and retaining their factory sewn pull tabs in various brown variations. Snaps are present and fully functional. The snaps are manufactured by well known maker and marked « PRYM 6 ». Smock conversions use « Grünmeliert » material scraps when converted and feature some nice sections in all green fabric. Original factory stitched breast eagle is present. Smock is maker marked and dated on the interior left upper chest area. « RISTOW / BERLIN » sized in a « IIB » and « L.B.A. 40 » marked. A very rare and highly desirable smock with excellent eye appeal, extremely difficult to find in this mint/unissued condition. Choice.
