Rare Waffen-SS M42 plane tree 5/6 camouflage smock
Description
Superb and rare Waffen-SS M42 second type camouflage service smock. Produced in a pattern referred to as « Plane Tree 5/6 » and constructed from a smooth linen based cotton material. Both spring and fall sides are printed and exhibit strong and contrasting colors. Smock retains its original drawstring. All original foliage loops are present. All stitching is complete and untouched. Waist band and cuff elastic present and retains its full elasticity. Ink stamped with the makers code. The smock is in overall excellent condition with a very few small holes. A great late-war smock!
