Description
A choice Waffen-SS helmet cover in oak leaf camouflage. A really nice example retaining strong and vivid colors. The entire cover is printed on a cotton linen fabric in the pattern of « Oak Leaf A ». All original camouflage foliage loops are present and factory sewn with excess threads. All anodized hooks and rockers are intact and functional. Slight wear and use can be seen in the close-up photographs of the rockers. The helmet cover is photographed on a M40 helmet shell in size 62 but can also fit a helmet shell in size 64. Overall condition of the cloth cover is excellent, slightly worn. Strong and contrasting colors. An excellent and choice late-war Waffen-SS combat helmet cover.
