A nice late-war Waffen-SS camouflage combat helmet cover. Helmet cover is constructed from « Oak Leaf B » camouflage material. Retains its factory applied foliage loops that are complete. Colors and patterns remain vivid and contrasting. The cover is faintly ink stamped with a bolt or material number on the fall side. Some small pin size holes are present along with some stains and nicks to the cover. What one would see on an actually combat used example. Two of the three rocker clips are still present. The late-war bate steel type. Brim remains complete and tightly secure. Partial spring exposure is present on the missing rocker side. Loose thread from one reinforcement to another is present and a nice detail to see even on a combat worn example like this. Cover is displayed on a size « 64 » helmet shell. The cover remains in its untouched as found condition. Original Waffen-SS covers are really hard to find in today's market. A really nice combat used example.
