Description

A choice and unique SS-VT M34 black service cap. The cap is the early style and manufactured from a classic black wool material. Features only a single « TK » button along the front, marked on the reverse « RZM 57 ». Interior is where all the action is happening. Classic earth brown linen lining. The cap is firstly tagged with the correct « SS Feldmütze » oilcloth tag, secondly it retains the classic « SS RZM » black cloth tag. The cap is stamped with the size « 56 » and two separate unit marked stamps for the « I/SS2 1935 » and « I/SS2 3.Sturm ». And finally with the former owners name tag and unit information « Deflefs, Bruno ». Definitely worthy of further research. Overall a rather difficult to find early and very desirable example in today's collectors market.
