U.S.N / US navy deck jacket. We are please to offer this example and are very lucky to have had the pleasure to acquire a second one in a few months. The jacket is constructed from a blue denim ribbed material and is the earlier much sought after pattern. Jackets exterior is in great condition with very strong and rich blue color. Absolutely nothing replaced, repaired, or enhanced. Retains all working and in excellent condition closures along with an unknown Navy patch on the front left chest area. Very nicely marked on the back « U.S. NAVY ». Lining is excellent dark blue wool with no issues. Retains a factory cloth tag along the bottom area but unreadable. Contract tag is present, factory sewn and the largest size we have seen « 50 ». These jackets are extremely rare to find in this untouched condition and size.
