Description
A choice M1942 German late war combat helmet. The helmet is a late « hkp66 » with a lot number of « 310? » . The helmet's exterior is in near mint unissued condition. Featuring over 99% of its factory applied textured feldgrau paint. This is a never issued depot acquired combat helmet. The split pins are tight, except one (see photos). The helmets interior is near mint. Choice bright tan almost yellow leather liner, supple, complete with drawstring ink stamped with the size « 58 ». Original chinstrap is supple and nicely marked with « RBNr ». Choice even for the most discerning collector.
