Description
A period German early combat medics backpack. Early example of a pony fur front cover backpack and featuring nice early light brown leather fittings. Bright green early linen cotton fabric material. Backpack is is unissued near mint condition. Stitching is complete and all accounted for along the red cross roundel. Nicely maker marked and dated « Gebr. Krueger / Breslau 1940 » along with proper matching shoulder straps marked on each with the same maker and Waffenamt. All early aluminum fittings are complete and present. A true matching set. Very difficult to find with this early date. A choice combat medics backpack.
