Unissued German combat medical backpack
Description
German combat medical backpack. Early-war construction in green canvas and blackened leather. Retains all its dark brown pony fur coverage on the main flap. Its in unissued condition. Maker marked with the name of the manufacturer and dated « 1940 ». The red cross patch is missing but stitching is evident of its application. Interior is complete with mess kit pouch. Leather shoulder straps are in excellent shape. Maker marked and dated « 1942 ». A really nice backpack that can be restored relatively easily.
