Unissued German Heer DAK pith helmet, « 1942 »
Description
A standard issue German tropical sun / pith helmet. Body is in near mint condition and retains its excellent color. The leather trim around the leather is in lighter green material and complete with no separations or damage. Leather chinstrap is complete and intact. The liner system is mint. The reverse of the leather sweatband is maker marked « F.ST.L. » and dated « 1942 ». Size « 57 ». It comes with a pair of British desert dust goggles.
