Description
Superb German Luftwaffe Flak helper coat, manufactured in the traditional blue-grey wool fabric and displaying all the typical characteristics of this particular type of uniform. The coat retains its shoulder straps with white piping, characteristic of an assignment to an anti-aircraft defence unit. It features two pleated breast pockets with buttoned flaps. The left breast displays a blue triangular Luftwaffe eagle insignia, while the upper sleeve retains its original triangular insignia, embroidered in yellow on a black background and bearing the inscription « Ost Südetenland ». The coat retains its « RZM » tag in the interior pocket. It is in mint unissued condition with a very few smalls moth holes (see photos) and retains the factory paper label. A superb and highly desirable example, which would make a fantastic addition to any advanced collection of Luftwaffe or German youth organisation uniforms from the Second World War!
