Description

A choice unissued Heer M42 enlisted man's combat tunic with signals shoulder boards. Factory late-war manufactured tunic from coarse Italian heavy wool material. The tunic retains its original factory applied machine zig-zag stitched « BeVo » breast eagle. The tunic retains all its factory applied buttons. M44 shoulder boards are piped in a bright yellow for communications and a collector added « EKII » ribbon present for display. Both factory applied machine straight stitched collar tabs in « BeVo » are present with the back being the classic green « HBT » material. Of interesting note is a small factory error along the collar. Interior is complete with two types of grey rayon lining. Nicely ink stamped with the size and depot « St.44 ». Of interest is what looks to be white residue along the bottom but is the maker markings of the wool manufacture also found on the interior sleeve area. Overall a really hard and very desirable Heer M43 combat tunic.
