An exceptional unissued Heer splinter camouflage « HBT » combat smock. The smock is constructed from a splinter camouflage printed « HBT » material. Finer in quality than later produced weaves. The smock retains extremely bright, rich and vivid colors throughout its entirety. The smock has never been used and retains its original starch stiffness. The smock also retains its commonly missing neck and drawstrings present. Both are from the classic and desirable green cord material. All buttons are present and factory sewn. The smock is reversible to its white winter combat side. It is also crisply stamped with the maker, size « II » and location. Commonly associated with being issued first to the famous « GROSSDEUTSCHLAND DIVISION ». This example remains in overall mint unissued condition and cannot be upgraded. Choice example even for the most discerning collector.
