Description
Superb Heer/Luftwaffe splinter camouflage winter parka. A mid-war produced splinter pattern camouflage pattern produced around late 1943 and printed several various shades of splinter camouflage pattern. A second splinter print from an earlier vintage for the arms and one front panel. A good mixture give this parka a really nice camouflage look with a misprinted front panel on the wearers left. The parka is in unissued condition. Factory applied black plastic buttons are complete and all present. Not reversible but features the typical blue grey rayon lining in two different hues. The parka is nicely ink stamped with a size of « III » for large. It is also complete with drawstring for the hood present, textbook waist belt and drawstring along the bottom for a more secure fit. A difficult to find example in this condition and nice large size. Would display wonderfully on any average or larger size mannequin. Choice winter parka.
