Description
Kriegsmarine tropical tunic. Choice mint unissued condition. Example is best we have seen featuring its depot paper tag. Standard issue garment in a unique cut peculiar to the Kriegsmarine. The tropical tunic is constructed in a tan cotton colored fabric. The eagle is triangular « BeVo » type and factory chain stitched. Buttons showing the anchor all retain their mustard tan color and retaining rings show no oxidation. All four pockets are pleated in design. Air vents under each arm are present for warmer climates. Interior has plenty of tailor markings in blue pencil and upper section is lined in a white linen. Set of original belt support hooks present. Maker of the tunic and the same information found on the tag « SPIESSHOFER & BRAUN - HEUBACH/ WUERTT ». Excellent and difficult to upgrade example that is much harder to find tan the tropical M41 Caps.
