Description
Superb M1935 Heer single decal reissued German combat helmet. The helmet is nicely maker marked and sized « NS68 » with a lot number of « DN23 ». This is a depot reissue piece with as much of a high paint and decal rating one could ask for. The exterior shows the slightest of wear to its matte almost chalky feel texture grey feldgrau paint. It rates in at approximately 99%. The factory applied decal is approximately 99% with one small abrasion on the lower right. All split pins are painted, securely fastened and accounted for. The helmet's complete interior is undisturbed and remains untouched. The leather liner shows some storage toning but complete with almost no wear. Drawstring is still attached and nicely ink stamped along one of the tongues for size « 61 ». Early reinforced aluminum liner band is present and shows some dust and natural build up over the decades. The liners chinstrap is complete, period shortened and in excellent condition. This helmet is one of the nicest we have been able to offer even for the most discerning collector. Choice !
