Unissued WW2 Italian paratrooper camouflage smock, « 1943 »
Description
Superb WW2 Italian paratrooper camouflage step-in smock, this is the 3rd pattern, it is in mint / unissued condition, it retains all the original wooden buttons, the inside is nicely black ink stamped with the size « 2 » (medium), makers details and the date « 1943 ». The factory sewn cloth stars on the collar tabs have been removed which was a standard practice for RSI units which used the gladio instead of the star, but very commonly done also in the Royal Army. It will be difficult to upgrade this stunning example !
