Description

US paratrooper/ infantry gas brassard. Made out of heavy brown paper coated with reactive paint. When in contact with vesicant spray, the paper would turn pink in spots. The cloth loop was for attaching the detector to the field jacket shoulder strap, most of the time on the right arm. Nice condition, dated 10/44.
