Superb pair of US Army cavalry boots. Smooth brown leather construction, adopted from 1940, they were widely worn by motorcyclists, some members of armored troops and some officers such as General George S. Patton. They are in excellent and supple condition. The interior is stamped with manufacturer's details but difficult to read. The soles are marked with size « 7EE ». It is very difficult to find a pair of cavalry boots in this exceptional condition.
