US Army football training helmet
Description
A WWII period US football training helmet. Helmet is a typical example of an early 1940's football training helmet. It retains over 90% of the typical army « OD » green paint. Named on the front and on the inside « WATSON ». The back is marked « MADE IN U.S. » and sized in a « 6 7/8 ». Interior is complete with its leather padding in place. Moderate use but overall complete. Exterior chin straps are absent but can be replaced with relative ease. A very nice and rather difficult to find helmet that would be a great display.
