Description
A period US national flag. US Army or Navy issued example. Factory made with machine sewn stars. Wool blend base and cotton heavy linen mounting. Wartime period brass hardware is present. The flag has been combat used and saw service. Stained and flew maybe on a ship. Some faint markings along the side are present yet unreadable. Measuring roughly « 110cm by 80cm ». Perfect for mounting and display. It was originally sourced out of the woodwork here in France several years ago. A choice and desirable example.
