US M-1936 musette bag, named, « LT. RAY WEAVE »
Description
A superb WWII US M-1936 early musette bag. The bag is constructed from rubberized canvas. Nicely and deeply ink stamped along the from flap « U.S. » and a very nice leather name tag with the officer’s information sewed on. The bag retains its original factory applied light tan webbing. The interior is maker marked and dated « THE LANGDON TENT & AWING CO. 1942 ». Multiple areas stamped with the former owners serial number « W3371 ». Also comes with is damaged web carrying strap (see photos). Overall condition is really good.
