US M-1938 dispatch map case, named, « Battle of The Bulge »
Description
Very nice US M1938 dispatch map case. It is named after the officer « WELSH » who was promoted from the rank of Captain to the rank of Major. Khaki canvas manufactured example by « DES MOINES GLOVE AND MFG. CO. » and dated « 1942 ». In very good serviceable condition. Nice piece that was found in the Belgian Ardennes years ago, overall very nice appearance.
