US M38 field jacket, « Parsons / field modified »
Description
A rare first model US M1938 field jacket « PARSONS ». Constructed from a khaki-green windproof and water resistant cotton poplin with a flannel lining. Period field added interior pocket. Standard and typical buttoned tabs at the waist and sleeves. Front closure by a period standard zipper that is hidden under a buttoned flap. Manufactured by « TALON ». Some buttons are absent but can be replaced easily. Sized in a « 36 » and retains no cutters tag. A rarely encountered early WWII period jacket that rarely comes to market.
