US M41 field jacket, 4th Infantry Division « IVY »
Description
US M1941 field jacket. A light early green color short windbreaker-type jacket constructed from a windproof and water-resistant cotton poplin with a complete light green khaki flannel wool based lining. All light brown plastic buttons are factory stitched and present. It also retains its factory applied zipper in fully working order. Zipper is manufactured by the firm « TALON ». Size label along the back neck is present but washed. Roughly a « 38 » in today's measurements. The washed out cloth tag is present in the lower right pocket. The 4th Infantry Division patch is machine stitched and looks period. The jackets exterior is in overall excellent condition showing slight signs of wear. A nice and desirable M41 jacket.
