US major's tanker jacket, « Tank Destroyer »
Description
A period WWII US Major's ranked winter jacket - tanker jacket for a tank destroyer. The jacket is made from a good quality khaki tan poplin material. Full-length zipper manufactured by « TALON » is present and operational. Knit collar, cuffs and waistband show some very light use but overall in excellent condition with no repairs present. Overall in excellent combat used condition with minimal staining and use along the front. Would fit any mannequin with ease and sized in a modern day « LARGE ». Major leather rank tabs are period sewn on each shoulder along with a tank destroyer patch on the left upper shoulder. Choice example and very difficult to find in today's collectors market making this a unique opportunity.
