WWII U.S. tankers jacket with USMC veteran artwork. In really nice gently worn condition. The tanker jacket retains its full-length zipper on the front, made by the firm « TALON ». Original factory applied cuffs and waist band. The jacket is in really clean shape with some slight soiling on the right arm. The front also has the soldiers name nicely hand stitched in a light pink thread. The back of the jacket is superbly hand designed and stitched featuring a highly detailed Chinese style dragon. Multi colored threads are used showing great detail. « U.S. MARINES » along the top and the location of service or where he was stationed « TSINGTAO CHINA 1946 » along the bottom. The interior dark green wool lining is complete with remnants of the threading of the contract tag. A really unique USMC tankers jacket!
