Description
A USM1 fixed bale front seam 1st Lieutenant netted combat helmet. The early helmet retains its factory applied paint over 96% with minor scuffs and scraps. Period « ETO » and rank insignia painted along the front. Factory early brass straps are in place. Retains its issued period applied net with some discoloration. Matching and complete liner is present. It is also properly marked with rank and stripe along the back. Made by « Westinghouse ». Liner shows use and remains in untouched condition complete with its earl chinstrap in place. A rare and desirable US combat helmet set, rarely offered on the market.
