Description

Very nice USM1 named combat helmet liner. Textbook manufactured and issued example. The exterior is complete with over 95% of the factory applied « OD » green finish. Liner is matte and semi rough in feel. Period affixed gold 2nd Lieutenant bar on the front and tightly in place. The liner's interior remains in untouched and undisturbed condition. Manufactured by « WESTINGHOUSE ». It is complete and in very nice condition. Liner is mounted for combat with the sweatband placed fully placed back along the neck strap for a lower and more secure fit. This was common amongst combat helmets. It is nicely named and with initials in four places to a « LT. MOGREN », serial number « 0548654 », « EWM ». Chinstrap is complete and in very good condition featuring a green finish. Overall a very nice and untouched true Lt. helmet liner.
